Resumen:
Tomado de la introducción: "As a participant for many years in Ludwig von Mises' New York University graduate seminar in economic theory, I was distressed by the neglect of the "Austrian School of Economics" among college and university professors and in textbooks on the history of economic thought. This book attempts to fill that gap to some extent. It tells something of the step-by-step development of the Austrian school, its theories and their gradual dissemination. In recent years, the influence of the Austrian School has been increasing and its explanations of economic matters are being more seriously treated in colleges and universities. Thus the ideas of the Austrian school are beginning to have some impact on economic thinking and even on government policy in some countries."
