Resumen:
Tomado de la solapa: "Economic Freedom and Interventionism presents forty-seven articles that were rescued from obscurity by Mises scholar Bettina Bien Greaves. A worthwile read for the Mises follower, the book provides a succinct introduction to Mises's work for those less familiar with his ideas. The essays cover a wide range of topics, including inflation, regulation and competition, wage and price controls, economic education, monetary policy, and even economics as a theory of peaceful social cooperation. Tying all these issues together are Mises's compelling arguments for a free society. Mises's commitment to spreading these ideas can be seen in his conclusion to the book's final essay: "Nothing is more important today than to enlighten public opinion about the basic differences between genuine liberalism, which advocates the free market economy, and the various interventionist parties which are advocating government interference." A student of Mises, Greaves has become an expert on his work in particular and that of the Austrian School of Economics in general."
